Hi everyone, I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life. As a single mom, I’m doing everything I can for my children, but right now I truly need help. My car broke down and I can’t afford to fix it, which means I can’t get to work or get my kids where they need to be. All of my bills—water, electric, phone—are due, and I’m struggling to keep up after leaving a domestic violence situation and getting no support from my children’s fathers. My son recently had a mental health crisis at school, and I’m trying to stay strong for him and my youngest, who just started daycare. With the holidays coming, I can’t even give my kids Christmas decorations or presents, and I’m worried about keeping up with rent. I’m working hard to rebuild, but I can’t do it alone.
