Rue is my best friend and truly my soul dog. She came into my life during the hardest time—right in the middle of Covid in 2020—when I needed her the most. From the moment I met her, she became my constant companion and my source of comfort. Rue has been there for me through the worst days and the best days. She’s the one who makes everything feel okay when life gets overwhelming. Anyone who has a soul dog knows that they’re not just a pet—they’re family, they’re home.

Right now, Rue is fighting for her life after being diagnosed with bloat, which is a life-threatening emergency for dogs. She needs immediate veterinary care and surgery to survive.
