Hello everyone, my name is Rue and a little about me is I’m an 18-year-old transgender masc nonbinary young adult. I am Guatemalan and also a fierce advocate in the transgender community. I was diagnosed with Anorexia restrictive eating a little over two years ago now and have had a hard relationship with food for most of my life. Only recently has it become worse, and I am facing everyday struggles with fatigue and lack of concentration, as well as i have been having medical episodes of passing out. Let alone, it has significantly impacted my mental health, and I no longer feel confident about myself, and the way I look. I was recently offered higher intensive care for my eating disorder at the Emily Program. This is great news for me; however, I recently got my own place and will not be able to work the ideal hours I need in order to pay rent, my utilities, and basic needs, as well as co pays for this treatment. This is where my ask comes in. I need this treatment to help me stay healthy, both physically and mentally so it doesn't lead me to life-altering issues, but I need help financially so I can afford this treatment as well as paying for groceries and gas so I can get to programming.
Any help or support is truly appreciated thank you.
