Hello, my name is Margarita, and for the past 2.5 years, I have opened my heart and home to fostering dogs in need of shelter while they wait for their forever home. I've been fortunate to find a rescue that believes that all lives matter, all dogs deserve love and care - Pumpkin Pawz Rescue.

This GoFundMe is for one special dog that needs all the help in the world - Rudy.

Rudy’s story is heartbreaking, but together, we can give him the love and care he so desperately needs.

This sweet 8-year-old Pit Bull was found wondering in Riverside, tired and thirsty. I could not ignore him, offering him the first bit of safety he may have known in a long time. It’s unimaginable that someone could abandon a dog… especially one with a massive, painful growth on his leg.

Rudy has been through so much. The vet suspects he was used as a bait dog… his body bears the scars, and his teeth appear to have been intentionally filed down. And yet, despite his suffering, Rudy is nothing but love. He craves affection, leaning in for pets and cuddles as if he’s still holding on to hope.

Rudy's mass was tested, and a surgeon has given us some hope. If Rudy is able to go through his surgery, he can finally have an opportunity to find his forever home and live out the rest of his golden years. This, however, is costly, and this is where you can help. Help Rudy get the care he deserves.
