Hi, my name is Nicki and I'm fundraising for my sister Lisa and her dog Rudy.

A couple of days ago Rudy, a gorgeous, happy, healthy 7 year old lab colli cross and a well loved family pet was unlucky enough to get bitten by an adder. After being rushed to an emergency vet and kept in overnight his paw is not healing very well. Worst case scenario is that he’ll have to have his leg amputated if the infection spreads. As we all know vets bills are very expensive and unfortunately Rudy is not insured (it expired and was just one of those things that my sis didn’t get round to) the vets bills are already at £3000 and rising. It’s £500 just to keep him in the vets for a day on a drip which he really needs for his best chance to fight this infection. If it does come to the worst case scenario and he does need amputation it could be just too costly so she really needs a bit of help to give Rudy the best chance!
