Help Rudy Rest Easy

It is with great sorrow to share that on August 13, 2019, our family patriarch, Rudy Estrada went to eternal rest.
My father was an incredible man who had a unique gift for making those around him, cry with laughter no matter the circumstances. His ability to lighten the room and the mood, made him a true joy to be around.
He served in the Navy in his early life and loved working on aircrafts. After his service, he worked extremely hard to provide for his family and at certain points, worked 3 jobs. Despite suffering multiple strokes in 2005, he never let his ailments restrain him and continued to spread laughter to all he met. He continued to persevere for 14 years, undeterred by his declining health and inspired others to overcome their hardships.
He was an amazing man and was loved by so many. The love and affection that surrounded him during his last days speaks volumes to his character and the type of man he was. He went out of his way to help everyone, especially his family. His favorite saying was "pa la seca", which translates to "for the dry." He would say this when he knew you didn't have any money or food, and he would give you his. Truly, he was the best father, husband, son, and brother the Estrada family could ask for.
It is during this time of grief, that our family humbly asks for your help with funeral expenses. As being a veteran only covers certain costs, any amount helps. Our family also welcomes anyone who had the honor of knowing Rudy Estrada and/or his family, to attend his services as we celebrate his life. These will be announced shortly after confirmation.
