Two weeks ago Rudy decided he needed to see a doctor for his increasing fatigue and swelling in his feet and ankles. Soon after he was having urgent heart bypass surgery (CABG), mitral valve replacement and Impella ventricular assist device implantation! He thought he was just tired from working three jobs and from his recent COVID infection. Looking back, he had been having swelling for a few months, but didn’t realize his heart was failing. It’s been a long two weeks since his surgery, but day by day he has been improving and maintains a great attitude. His big concern now is his absolutely massive medical bills he faces. Please help!
