I’m raising funds for my dog, Rudy. Rudy is a 10 month old pittie mix, and the light of my life. Yesterday at 4:15 pm, I rushed Rudy to the vet. When I got home from work & got him out of his crate, I noticed he looked off. Upon looking at him I noticed he was super bloated & swollen, his sides were squishy & sounded like crunching when you touched it. He was breathing weird - almost like snorting, and couldn’t bark. When we got to the hospital, they took him in right away. Later on, I was told that he has subcutaneous emphysema, had a breathing tube, and his whole body was like a balloon.

They have done x-rays, CT scans, and endoscopy’s, and they don’t know what’s wrong. No one has seen this before.

Tonight will be his second night staying over in the hospital. As you can imagine, his vet bill is pretty high & continues to grow. This was something we never expected, but now it’s something we’re navigating and figuring out for our boy.

Truly anything helps, I just want to be able to give my baby the care he needs. This has been an incredibly hard process & we are thankful for everyone that is keeping him in their prayers.
