Tragic murder of Officer Rudolf Elezovic

My fellow friends and family members, it is with deepest sympathies that I write this about Rudolf Elezovic, 54-year-old former anti-drug chief police officer, from Montenegro.  His body was found in Shengjergji, Montenegro, near Pentar (boarder of Albania) in the river. 

Rudolf was a very close family friend, who is survived by his wife and three young daughters. Rudolf committed his life as an anti-drug crime police officer in Montenegro and diligently fought to keep Ulcinj and all surrounding villages and boarders clean of drugs. His latest accomplishment was earlier this year, when he arrested over 20 individuals during a drug ring and seized tons of drugs.

The death of Rudolf serves as proof that behind the badge is an individual that leaves his/her family every day, not knowing if they’ll ever see them again. In this situation, Rudolf was stolen of the opportunity to watch his daughters grow-up, graduate college, marry, and have children of their own.  Please take a moment to remember Rudolf and every person in uniform that fight for the freedoms and wellbeing of others and who put their life and family, second.
