This is Ruby. She is a tortie Colorpoint Shorthair. She has been through a lot lately. Her right eye started swelling almost two weeks ago from what we thought was a result of some rough play with her housemate. Three days later, we were told she could have cancer behind her eye causing it to swell, or possibly glaucoma. After being evaluated by an eye specialist, ruling out glaucoma, and two more vet opinions with surgery to remove two molars that may have been infected causing the eye to swell, we are back to needing to rule out cancer.

All three vets have recommended a CT scan; however, the facilities that are within a day's drive will not do it without yet another consult from their onsite vet before the test.

She is the sweetest cat we have ever known, full of energy and "tortitude", our baby, and we just want what is best for her and to help her if we can, and to be able to have the CT scan.

Anything anyone may feel led to give is obviously greatly appreciated.
