Hi, I'm Leah, friend to the Rozko family, and we are raising funds to help while their youngest daughter, Ruby, bravely battles Osteosarcoma.

In early November 2025, Ruby was diagnosed with bone cancer. She immediately started chemotherapy treatment, which will see her in and out of the hospital for the next 30 weeks, with periods of 3-4 day hospital stays. During that time, she will have surgery to remove a mass on her shoulder.

Here's the good news: Ruby is a fighter. She is a brave, spunky, sassy, seven-year-old with a heart of gold. She is empathetic and is always thinking of other people. She takes after her parents in that way. Now it's time for us to be thinking of her and her family and offering them our support however we can.

Ruby's mom, Michelle, has stepped down from her job as a teacher's aide to care for Ruby full-time. Her dad, Alex, will continue to work, but the family has now gone down to a single-income household. Ruby's sister, River, is in 4th grade and will continue to attend school while supporting her sister and being her biggest cheerleader.

This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of medical costs, time away from work, and everyday living expenses.
