Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read Rubi's story.
My name is Jesus Naranjo and I am hoping to raise money for my niece, Rubi Naranjo, who is currently in a fight with cancer. She was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her jaw in July and her operation is scheduled for December 2nd. Her operation will require complete removal of the right side jaw bone. The surgeon will then remove a portion of bone from either her arm, leg, or hip to replace the jaw bone that will be removed. After her surgery, she will be required to stay in the hospital for at least a week to monitor her recovery.
I would like to help Rubi raise $6,000 to help cover a portion of her medical expenses.
About Rubi:
Rubi is 22 years old, she lives in Nueva Italia, Mexico. She is a mother to a beautiful 17-month baby girl, Lia Estefani, who she raises with her husband. She and her husband work hard every day to provide for their daughter. However, they have been struggling financially due to this unexpected diagnosis. Since her diagnosis, she and her husband have had to take a lot of time off work to attend doctor appointments and testings in Mexico City, a few hours away. Therefore making it more and more difficult to keep up with everyday expenses let alone her medical costs. They do not have medical insurance and must pay for everything out-of-pocket.
Rubi is such a kind-hearted young woman who helps anyone with what she can. We love her very much really want her to get healthy and live a long life for her daughter.
