It is with great sadness and heartache that I have to inform you about the struggle and eventual passing of Ruben Romero from his long battle with cancer. Ruben has been many different things to many different people: SON, BROTHER, FRIEND, HUSBAND, FATHER, STEP-FATHER, UNCLE, SON-IN-LAW, LOVER, and CONFIDANT.

Even though nobody is perfect, Ruben always tried to have a kind word for everyone and was always willing to help anyone in need, especially if it had to do with fixing or modifying a car. He loved cars so much that you only had to semi-describe what was wrong with your vehicle or make funny faces while imitating the sounds that your vehicle was making, and he knew exactly what was wrong. The only thing that he loved more than cars, though, was family. Whether or not you were blood-related, once he accepted you as family, you were family for life, and Ruben considered everyone family.

So please keep him and his family in your prayers.
