Help Ruben and Linda Ortiz Through Crisis

Ruben was scheduled for a surgery to remove blockage in his right corraded artery on 10/09/2024.

He already had the same surgery six weeks beforehand on the left side. After surgery he was in the recovery room and the first artery that was "fixed" six weeks before became blocked and he was rushed back into surgery for the third time. The doctors began working on the re-blocked artery (100% blockage below the placed stint). During this surgery the most recently unblocked and stinted artery became blocked by a blood clot as well, resulting in no arterial oxygen to the brain. He became unresponsive and was lacking oxygen for an extended amount of time. He was in surgery and under anesthesia for over 9 hours. The doctors brought him back to us, Thank God, but he requires extensive rehabilitation. With the households income in limbo due to the need for constant care and support around the clock, which is falling to Linda mostly.

Ciao Bella is reaching out as a business in the community for financial assistance for Ruben and Linda Ortiz. Linda and her family have been my friends since I moved to Marble falls, and a loyal employee of seven years. Both their incomes have come to a halt, I think this one's going to take a village. All prayers, positive thoughts and energy, as well as any financial contribution will make a huge positive affect on the family. Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart.
