Ruben needs our help.

On March 21st, a simple bike ride turned into a life-changing accident. After being thrown from his bike, Ruben was rushed to the hospital with multiple serious injuries, including a collapsed lung, fractured ribs and collarbone, a skull fracture, a ruptured eardrum, and a small brain bleed.

He is now facing a long recovery and will be unable to work.

Ruben is the main provider for his wife and their four children (16, 13, 8, and 1). Because of this, their family will be facing real financial pressures in the coming weeks and months. Medical bills, hospital expenses, and ongoing follow-up care will be overwhelming for his wife to manage on her own.

If you’ve ever met Ruben, you know his heart. He’s the kind of person who shows up for everyone, makes people laugh, and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable no matter what.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
