This is Tricia Spencer's daughter Ru. We are so proud of this kid! Ru is a 2025 American Visions Scholastic Arts and Writing National Award winner. Out of over 300,000 works submitted by 110,000 teens, 100 teens were selected for gold medals nationally and Ru won for her sculpture, "Multi-Vocal Aruspex."

Previous alumni of this award include Andy Warhol, Stephen King, and Joyce Carol Oates so this is a big deal.

Ru has been invited to Carnegie Hall this summer for the award ceremony. We are raising funds for Ru and Tricia to get to Carnagie Hall in New York City to receive her award. We aren't looking for much, just enough to get their plane tickets so any small amount will be a great help. Thank you and congratulations, Ru!
