Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved dog, Ross. She’s a sweet, happy pup who’s brought so much love and joy into my life. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and an even bigger heart — but now that wagging tail is causing her serious pain.
Ross has been diagnosed with Happy Tail Syndrome, a condition where dogs injure their tails from constantly wagging them against hard surfaces. We’ve tried everything — bandages, wraps, vet visits — but the injuries keep reopening. Now her tail has developed chronic wounds and infections, and she’s in constant discomfort.
After trying every possible option, our vet has told us the only way to relieve her pain and stop the cycle of injury is to amputate her tail. It’s a tough decision, but one that will finally let Ross heal and get back to her normal, joyful self.
The total cost for her surgery, aftercare, and medication is $1,500, and unfortunately, that’s more than I can afford right now. That’s why I’m turning to you — my friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers — to ask for help.
If you’re able to donate, even a few dollars, it would mean the world to both of us. And if you’re not in a position to give, sharing this campaign is just as helpful.
Ross has given me so much unconditional love — now I want to give her the chance to live without pain. Thank you so much for your support, kindness, and love.
With deep gratitude,
