Roy Peña Barraza has always been a hardworking and dedicated member of our community. For over 20 years, he’s been known as a skilled machinist and a trusted home painter, helping countless families with both interior and exterior projects. Despite facing chronic fatigue and pain from a cancerous tumor on his kidney, Roy continues to work full time, rarely asking for help and always putting others first.

Recently, Roy received the difficult news that he needs surgery to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, his insurance does not cover much of the cost, and the financial burden of the surgery and treatment in Dallas is overwhelming. This diagnosis has been life-changing for Roy and our family. He dreams of seeing his grandchildren grow up, but the stress and uncertainty have taken a toll on his spirits.
