Help Roy Kick Cancer's Butt

If you know Roy, you are lucky. He is always fun, quirky, kind, and truly enjoys life and other people. He is active in his communities, sometimes spreading himself a little too thin volunteering to be secretary for different organizations, and participating in everything he can. He loves any opportunity to dress up, and many of you have seen him as a pirate, a wizard, several pop culture characters, and once, even a goddess. He is an amazing human, and brings untold joy to my life. He is a force for good and reminds everyone around him to play and enjoy life for as long as possible.

In November, a scan revealed a mass that required further testing, and in December it was confirmed. He was diagnosed with Stage IV kidney cancer. We were shocked and devastated, but we listened to our options, and Roy started a combo of chemo and immunotherapy. While it's too soon to tell how it's going, we are remaining positive and refusing to give up the fight! Roy is a tough dude, and has had minimal side effects from the treatment so far.

What brings us to this point is the medical bills and needs. Hospital visits, co-pays, medications, gas to get into town, special diet, etc. It's adding up quick and becoming overwhelming, and won't be stopping anytime soon. As treatment progresses, he will also need to miss work more often leaving us short on our regular budget. We need help to cover those costs and allow him to focus on fighting the cancer, not stressing on the cost of the fight.
