Help Roy get better
Tax deductible
On Sunday, October 13th, 2019, a black and white cat named Roy was found injured and bleeding from his left side. The resident who has been feeding the outdoor, neighborhood cat for years took the cat to LeadER Animal Speciality Hospital in Cooper City for treatment. At that time, it was discovered that someone shot the cat with a BB gun. LeadER performed emergency surgery on Roy to remove the pellet and found it had punctured his lung. Roy spent several days in critical condition housed in an oxygen chamber to help him breathe easier. However, Roy’s medical bills have exceeded what the resident can afford. We are asking if members of the community would consider donating to Roy’s care. Every dollar helps Roy get back on his “paws” after this traumatic event. This incident is currently an active investigation for our partners, The Pembroke Pines Police Department.
Roy is one and a half years old and has a brother that looks almost identical to him. The resident would like them to be adopted to a new home together. They are both already neutered and up to date on their shots. If you are able to help with the vet bill or know someone that is willing to adopt these two boys and give them another chance at a great life please reach out to [email redacted].
