Help Me Get Back on My Feet
My name is Roy, and I am an Olympic weightlifting coach in Miami. Every day, I dedicate my life to helping children and young athletes build confidence, discipline, and pursue their dreams through sports. Coaching isn't just my job—it's my passion and the way I provide for my family.
Last week, my car was nearly stolen. Although it wasn't taken, it was damaged badly enough that I can no longer use it. Without reliable transportation, I haven't been able to get to work, coach my athletes, or earn the income my family depends on.
This has quickly become more than just a car problem. I'm now struggling to cover rent, my car payment, groceries, and other essential bills while I'm unable to work.
I'm trying to raise $4,000 to help cover:
- Car repairs so I can return to coaching.
- Rent and essential household bills.
- My car payment.
- Food and basic necessities for my family.
- Lost income while I've been unable to work.
As a father of a wonderful 9-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter, my greatest concern is making sure they have everything they need while I work to recover from this unexpected setback.
Throughout my life, I've dedicated myself to helping others. As both an international weightlifting athlete and now a coach, I've had the privilege of developing young athletes, including helping athletes reach the USA National Team and earn national medals. Today, I'm humbly asking for help so I can continue doing what I love and supporting the people who depend on me.
If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean more than words can express. If you can't donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would also make an incredible difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during one of the most difficult moments my family and I have faced. I look forward to getting back on my feet, returning to the gym, and continuing to help my athletes achieve their dreams.
