We’re coming together to support our dear team member and friend, Roy Pankey, who is currently facing a difficult battle with cancer. Anyone who knows Roy knows his strength, kindness, and the way he shows up for others — now it’s our turn to show up for him.

Roy has been diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive mediastinal germ cell tumor larger than his heart, a cancer so uncommon that there are only a small number of cases each year worldwide. Because this disease is so serious and complex, his doctors have planned at least four cycles of intensive, inpatient chemotherapy, each requiring week‑long hospital stays over the coming months. After enduring this chemo, Roy will need to travel out of state to a specialized cancer center for a major open‑heart surgery to remove the tumor that remains near his heart and vital blood vessels.

As you can imagine, the financial burden of treatment, time away from work, and day‑to‑day expenses adds up quickly. Our goal is to help ease some of that stress so Roy can focus fully on healing and being surrounded by the people who love him.
