Home Repair after hurricane Melissa

Dear friends, family, and kindhearted supporters. My name is Roshelle Beasley and I’m organizing this GoFundMe for my uncle, Roy Beasley, who currently lives in Jamaica.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help in supporting my uncle, whose home in Jamaica was severely damaged by Storm Melissa. The storm tore through his community, leaving behind widespread destruction, and my uncle’s house was one of the hardest hit.

He lost his roof and windows, and most of his furniture and personal belongings were destroyed by the heavy rains and wind. Right now, he is staying with a relative who has been graciously providing him with food and shelter while he tries to piece his life back together.

Unfortunately, my uncle is unable to work due to ongoing health issues, which makes this situation even more difficult. Despite his challenges, he remains hopeful and grateful for every bit of support and love that has been shown. Family members are contributing what they can, but rebuilding a safe and livable home is beyond what we can manage alone.

We’re asking for your help, no matter how small, to help him rebuild his home and restore a sense of stability and comfort. Every donation will go directly toward repairing the roof, replacing windows, and recovering the basic necessities he lost.

Your kindness, prayers, and support mean the world to us during this time. Together, we can help my uncle rebuild not just his house, but his sense of hope and security.

Thank you so much for your compassion and generosity.
