On June 9th, 2021 Roy and Felicia's life took an unexpected turn for the worst. Around 5pm Roy went out for a ride on his motorcycle. Felicia was at work at the local restaurant. A normal occurrence. There was news of an accident on the Brownville Road. Felicia tried to reach Roy, but he was not answering. After not hearing from him she had a feeling it was not good. She left work after only being there for about 2 hours to try and find him. She drove to the area of the accident only to be in a long line of traffic. Trying to get any information she found out it was indeed her fiancé. She was directed to the local hospital where Roy was being stabilized for life flight. She was told he had a head injury, and he had to be transferred to Bangor. Before being taken to Bangor Felicia got to see Roy for the first time. She was able to kiss him before his flight and then the seemingly forever wait began before she was able to get any more information.
At around midnight on June 10th, 2021 Felicia drove to Bangor where Roy was still sedated in the E.R. He has since been moved to the ICU. As of around 10am Roy was responsive to the nurses so, he is being removed from the ventilator. They will need to evaluate the extent of his injuries and secure his road to recovery.
Roy is a father to four amazing girls who he loves with every fiber of his being. If you know Roy you know how much love and compassion he has. Last year he met the love of his life Felicia. They have secured their blended family in love and fun. They go to mud-runs, fishing, back yard bbqs. The happy couple announced their engagement on March 9, 2021, although they are much more than a couple, they are parents, friends, siblings, and so much more. Roy and Felicia are planning their forever life together in this small Maine town of Millinocket. They plan to get married, and continue the beautiful life they began just a short time ago. Roy is a carpenter, and constructor, he and Felicia recently started their own business, “Creative Construction”. A dream come true for the happy couple. Although, Roy and has yet to secure insurance for himself. With the life flight, ambulance ride, his E.R. stay and now him being in I.C.U. We are asking for any donations to help with medical bills. If you cannot donate money, donate a prayer, or some good thoughts because right now they need some peace and healing from this tragic event. We will keep you updated with the needs of this amazing family.
