Help Roy and Charlene Mullins rebuild their home

As many of you know, my parents Charlene Mullins and Roy Mullins lost most of their house in a fire this past Friday. Unfortunately, they didn’t have insurance on the house. What wasn’t destroyed by the fire was damaged by smoke or by the water used to put the fire out. I believe all their clothes will be ok after we wash them. (And that God for Kristi Workman and her family because they are going to let us use their laundry mat) Most of the furniture will need to be replaced. At least $50,000-$60,000 worth of damage. That’s not including the lost furniture and such. They honestly just need a new house in my opinion, but that’s just not in the books for us. I literally have no clue what goes into repairing something like this. But my dad plans on doing it himself, as he can. My father is 75 years old. He does construction work. In my life I have seen him work through heart problems, knee replacements, cancer, back surgery, and who even knows what else. He still works every day. I’m talking hard physical labor. So I know he will get it done. My mom is 74, she’s a special education teacher. She still works full time, too. That’s not counting all she does outside of school for other people. Neither complain. They just do what they need to do and they thank God for what they have. In their custody, they have my three nieces and one nephew who they raise. They have opened their home to so many people over the years. I always knew the door was open for me when I needed it. Back to the point I wish I could build them a new a home. I wish I could magically do something to make everything better. I originally made this as a Facebook post asking where I could buy cheap building supplies, but so many people suggest I make a GoFundMe. So I did. I set the goal at $20,000, I really don’t expect to raise that much. But honestly they need so much more as they live check to check like most everyone. I want everyone to know they did not ask me to do this. And they are so humble they haven’t asked anyone for anything. I just want life to be so much better for them and I want them to recover from that tragedy. Please share this if you don’t mind, I really want to help them out.
