Help Roxy to bounce again
Donation protected
My gorgeous 9-year old Boxer Roxy has really been through the mill recently. Back in March she suffered a slipped disc in her neck, a diagnosis that was confirmed recently by an MRI scan. She requires surgery to correct the damage, and we are trying to raise funds to help cover some of the costs of the treatment as due to her age, she is not insured.
Unfortunately while waiting for us to get the money together she has fallen seriously ill with a vomiting and diarrhoea bug that nearly claimed her life this weekend. Although she is pulling through (little trooper!) this had added even further to the costs and we are struggling to find the money to pay for everything.
So far we have paid out around £2800 in consultations, medication and scans, with a further £4000+ still to come. I am so desperate to give Roxy back her previous quality of life again - anyone who knows her knows that she is a typical Boxer which means she has absolutely no idea that she's 9 years old. She thinks she's 9 months! She lives to run and sniff and chase her ball and squirrels (never catches them!) and I am really hopeful that she will get to do all these things again in time.
If you feel that you are able to help in any small way, I will be eternally grateful for your support, and I know that she will be too!
With much licky-love to you all xx
