Roxy has been my best friend and companion for twelve years, and she’s brought so much joy and love into my life. At 13 years old, she’s always been a healthy and happy dog aside from some dental issues, but this year has been incredibly tough for her. Recently, Roxy was diagnosed with a painful abscess that needs immediate extraction, a mass that has a 50% chance of spreading, and a heart murmur. Despite these challenges, her doctors believe that with the right treatment, her quality of life can be greatly improved.

I’ve done everything I can to support Roxy so far, but the costs have quickly become overwhelming. I’ve already spent most of my savings on emergency vet visits and medication just to get her through a difficult weekend. Now, she needs to be hospitalized before and after dental surgery, and the total cost of her care—including consults, surgery, scans, x-rays, medications, and follow-up visits—far exceeds what my family and I can manage. It breaks my heart to see her in pain and discomfort, and I want to give her every chance to recover and enjoy her golden years.

Truly, anything helps—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this campaign to help spread the word. I would do anything for Roxy, and it’s hard not to feel like I’ve let her down when it comes to handling these bigger health issues, especially now that she’s a senior.
