Roxy has been my loyal companion for 14 years—always happy, wildly energetic, and the best friend anyone could ask for. She and her best friend Bonsai have been inseparable since they met, filling our home with joy and love. Roxy is truly my soul dog, and her presence has been a constant source of comfort and happiness in my life.
About four months ago, Roxy started having trouble—she wasn’t eating, seemed very tired and lethargic, and just wasn’t her normal self. At the time, I couldn’t afford to get her an x-ray, so we hoped it was just a bout of bad anemia. Unfortunately, on 3/8, things took a turn for the worse. Out of the blue, she stopped eating again, was sleeping all day, and could barely stand. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they discovered a tumor on her spleen. Right now, she’s very out of it, and it’s heartbreaking to see her like this.
The funds raised will go directly toward Roxy’s vet expenses, further testing, and any treatments she may need to give her the best chance possible. I am not one who asks for much for these types of things, but Roxy is my soul dog, my best friend, my emotional support, and everything in between.
