Update: Roxie is recovering and today (Friday) has been good. Her blood numbers yesterday showed elevated levels in the kidneys. Waiting on latest results tomorrow and praying they are improving. Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts.

Our Roxie girl had to have emergency surgery on Monday evening for a tumor removal in her abdomen. The tumor was pressing on her bladder and urethra requiring additional extensive surgery. Since we have picked her up her recovery has been less than ideal as we have had to take her back to the ER everyday since.

To know Roxie is to love Roxie. She is the light of our world and we would do anything for her. She’s a spunky little gal who will fight any dog three times her size, but also give any human the best cuddles and most kisses.

As much as we absolutely hate to do this- we need help. Roxie’s medical bills have pilled up reaching over $10,000, so we are looking for some assistance. Anything helps if you are able. If not, please share and send all your positive thoughts our way. We aren’t out of the deep end yet.
