Help Roxie Afford Her Medication

Heyo

I'm Roxanne, known online as ProxyFreak. I'm a Lebanese-Palestinian Muslim 23-year old trans girl, who, as you may imagine, wasn't very well liked by her parents and was forced out of the house at an early age. I work as a Comedy Screenwriter for various satire outlets such as Hard Drive, Clickhole and The Onion, and organize Community Content and Events in the Competitive Pokémon Sphere under Corsola Cove. I work two jobs, one as a stocker in a grocery store the other as a delivery driver for UberEats and other apps. I recently moved to Quebec from Ontario for school but my SAT isn't good enough to afford the fancy grants & perks, and I'm working my ass off to afford even basic necessities and rent.

Because I'm not a resident of Quebec, I don't have access to a lot of the free healthcare perks that are offered to the people, and I don't really have any insurance either. That's forced me to go to private doctors and clinics to get treatment for my BPD and Hormone Replacement Therapy. That shit is EXPENSIVE. I recently got a quote back from the clinic and altogether it's supposed to be almost $1000 CAD for all my appointments, and that's not even mentioning the blood work I have to get done, the medication ITSELF, and the Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I don't really have a very strong support network behind me, and that's never really been an issue for me until this week. I just need a Win. My whole life I've given my money to other people in their times of need, given my time to listen to my friends, and given my energy towards helping my community. I just need to make these two ends meet. Just this once. This is my first time ever making a GoFundMe, and I'm not sure how it works, but I hope y'all are cool enough to give me a little boost. I have had... A crazy year, to say the least.
