Roxanne has been a wonderful friend to us for many years, always offering kindness and support to those around her. On December 22nd, just days before the Christmas holiday, her life was turned upside down when she lost everything in a devastating house fire. All she was able to save were the clothes on her back and her beloved dog, Twyla. The loss has been overwhelming, and it’s hard to imagine how quickly everything can change in an instant, especially during what should be a joyful season.

Since the fire, Roxanne has received an outpouring of love from friends and family, with many offering her a place to stay. She is deeply grateful for this support and wants everyone to know that she and Twyla are safe. In her own words: "Oh, sweet friends...I'm ok, Twyla is ok and the support has been overwhelming. This event is a new experience and I'm not sure how to navigate all that is ahead, but there is support and Twyla and I are going to be just fine. Changes can definitely push us into new beginnings. I'm looking forward to what is coming, knowing that it will be great. There is so much love in this world. I am a little emotional, tired and so so grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

The funds raised here will go directly toward temporary housing, replacing the necessities she lost, and giving Roxanne and Twyla the chance to get back on their feet.
