Recently, I've been struggling to keep my head above water. With a pending divorce, bills piling up, three toddlers to care for, and no reliable transportation, I feel overwhelmed and out of options. Our van broke down, and after getting a new-to-me truck, I was involved in a head-on car accident that insurance didn't cover. I managed to buy another used truck, but it was towed and now sits in a lot, accumulating daily fees I can't afford. The truck needs repairs, and getting it back feels impossible right now.
On top of the car troubles, I'm facing the risk of losing my storage unit that holds my mom's ashes. My ex left me with a large phone bill, and my business rent is behind. I also have another phone bill from trying to help a friend, and my new insurance is overdue. There are two traffic tickets that need to be paid so I don't lose my license, and my rent is behind as well. Right now, my kids and I are staying in a shelter for women with children until we can move into a new place, but housing won't cover the security deposit.
I'm working part-time at Alaska Club, but with three young kids, it's hard to make ends meet. Summer camp for my son and daycare for my daughters are costs I simply can't cover anymore. My parents have both passed away, and as a single mother, I have a lot on my plate. I'm asking for help to get us back on our feet and meet our basic needs. Anything you can give will help, whether it's for a bus pass, a ride to pick up my kids, or covering urgent bills. Thank you for reading our story and considering a donation to help us move forward.
