Hello everyone, my name is Roxanne, and I’m from Chico, California. I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my own household, as we’re going through an extremely difficult financial stretch and doing everything we can to stay in our home.
As of late September 2025, all of our savings have been depleted, and things are slowly dwindling. A recent loss of income has left us struggling to stay afloat. We’ve been doing everything possible — taking on odd jobs, selling what we can, and reaching out to family and friends — but even covering the basics has become incredibly hard.
Right now, it’s difficult just to keep up with everyday essentials — keeping water and electricity on, putting gas in the car, and paying for food, insurance, and upkeep. On top of that, our home has needed several unexpected and costly repairs. We’ve had water leaks from the roof, ongoing plumbing issues, and a broken air conditioner that just went out recently.
I want to be clear — I am not raising money for any organization or government-related cause. I’m simply a mom from Chico trying to keep our family stable while we get through this rough period. Applying for assistance has been difficult while certain programs are paused during the current government shutdown, so this fundraiser is our last hope to bridge the gap until things recover.

How the Funds Will Be Used
All donations will go directly toward:
• Mortgage payments to keep our home
• Utilities (water, electricity, gas,phone)
• Car payment and insurance
• Groceries and household essentials
• Critical home repairs
Every dollar will be used exactly as listed above, and I’ll post updates to show progress and transparency as we go.
If you’re able to help — in any amount — please know it will go directly toward helping us stay in our home and keep the lights on through this difficult time. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page helps just as much.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, caring, and helping however you can.
❤️ With gratitude,
