Help Roxandra's Pets in Their Time of Need

My name is Roxandra, and I'm a devoted "hooman mom" to four fur babies: two senior cats (19, and 13 years young) and two Pomeranians (7 and 8 years old). Right now, we're facing an incredibly difficult time, as three of my beloved companions are struggling with serious health issues.

My 8-year-old Pom, Yogi, recently underwent hip surgery, a costly procedure that has been followed by months of rehab, steroid injections, and laser treatments to manage his pain. My oldest cat, Cashew (19!), was diagnosed with diabetes last year and requires insulin injections twice a day. He also wears a continuous glucose monitor (Libre2), which needs replacement every 10-14 days. Recently, Cashew suffered a seizure and required hospitalization, thankfully he recovered, but it added to the mounting expenses. My sweet Shadow, at 18, just passed away after battling chronic kidney failure, requiring subcutaneous fluids three times a week for the last 8 months. He also developed a cyst that needed periodic draining. And now, my 7-year-old Pom, Kitty, has started exhibiting concerning symptoms, and we're currently having her thyroid tested.

Yogi's hip surgery alone was a huge financial burden, not to mention the ongoing costs of pain management, rehab, and the constant care my other fur babies require. I never imagined I would have to ask for help, as caring for my animals is my responsibility. However, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job in October, and my search for new employment has been unsuccessful so far. The mounting veterinary bills for medications, insulin, glucose monitors, fluids, tests, and everything else needed to keep my pets comfortable and healthy have completely depleted my savings.

I'm heartbroken and terrified, as I desperately want to provide the care my animals need, but I'm simply unable to do it alone right now. I'm reaching out to my community with a heavy heart, asking for any kindness or support you can offer. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference in helping me provide life-saving treatments and medications for my beloved fur family during this incredibly challenging time.
