Hello, my name is Alejandra. I am the stepdaughter of Roxana, who recently suffered a brain aneurysm.
For those of you who don’t know what it is, a brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain. It happens when part of the blood vessel wall becomes weak and swells outward, kind of like a thin spot on a balloon. If a brain aneurysm ruptures (bursts), it causes bleeding in the brain, known as a hemorrhagic stroke. She was in a coma from July 4th and has recently regained some cognitive ability, but is still in critical condition and won’t be leaving the hospital any time soon.
Roxana is a hard worker, amazing, kind, and brilliant individual, a loving mom to me and my siblings, and loved and cared for by so many people.
We ask for prayers for her and her well-being in this long process. Any donations will go towards her hospital bills.
Thank you,
I will be posting updates every week on her well-being.
