Help Roxana and David Veizaga fight covid

*edit: we were just informed that my father David Veizaga passed away tonight due to a heart attack.

It is with great sadness that I am here to ask for help to save both my parents lives. My parents, brother, his wife and 3 children all contracted COVID-19 last week. Unfortunately, my parents health deteriorated very rapidly in the last couple of days. They both had to be taken to the hospital Clinica Copacabana on Thursday with oxygen levels around 70%. There they found my mom, Roxana, had advanced pneumonia in both lungs and my dad, David, had early stages of pneumonia in both lungs.
 

We have been doing everything we can to help them improve. My Dads pneumonia has advanced very rapidly to the point that his lungs were only operating at a 5% capacity. Yesterday, he had to be transferred to another hospital called Hospital Viedma, where he was put on a ventilator that is currently keeping him alive. 


My mom had been stable for the last few days, but just this evening I’ve been informed that her health has declined and we are currently in the process of transferring her to another hospital to be put on a ventilator as well. Unfortunately it has been extremely difficult to find ICU beds in the entire city of Cochabamba, Bolivia. 


The next few hours to are critical for both their lives. My family has exhausted just about all of their resources at the moment and it is why we are now asking for help. Any donation is greatly appreciated or simply sharing with family and friends would mean so much to us. I know my parents are very strong and are going to keep fighting for their lives no matter what.

Ayuda para Roxana y David Veizaga que están luchando contra el COVID

Con una gran tristeza estoy aquí para pedir su ayuda para salvar la vida de mis padres que se encuentran en mi país Bolivia.
Mis padres , mi hermano mayor, su esposa y sus tres hijos contrajeron el COVID-19 hace como una semana atrás.
Desafortunadamente la salud de mis padres se deterioró demasiado rápido en estos últimos días .
Ambos necesitaron hospitalización de emergencia a causa de su oxigenación que bajó hasta 70%
El jueves se internaron en la clínica Copacabana con un cuadro muy crítico en los pulmones . Ambos fueron diagnosticados con neumonía muy avanzada el cual les afectó los dos pulmones .

Estamos haciendo todo lo posible por tratar de salvar la vida de mis padres.
La neumonía de mi padre avanzó muy rápidamente al punto de que en un par de horas sus pulmones quedaron solo con el 5% de capacidad . Ayer fue transferido al hospital Viedma donde le colocaron un ventilador para mantenerlo con vida y en este momento se encuentra en coma .
Mi mamá se estaba manteniendo estable pero desafortunadamente hoy por la mañana su estado empeoro al grado de tener que transferirla también de emergencia para ser conectada a un ventilador y ponerla en coma .
Las siguientes horas serán muy críticas y cruciales para mis padres . Los reportes médicos no son muy alentadores pero solo Dios tiene la última palabra . Mi familia y yo haremos todo lo posible para salvar la vida de mis padres , es por eso que con mucha humildad pedimos la ayuda de todos nuestros amigos y familiares y las personas que quieran colaborar con una pequeña donación ya que los gastos médicos son demasiados y costosos .
También pedimos a todos que por favor nos ayuden a compartir esto para que llegue a más personas y nos puedan colaborar .
Sabemos que mis padres son fuertes y están luchando por sus vidas .
