Update Monday April 8: Rowena would like to thank everyone for prayers, good thoughts, and donations. All of this is greatly appreciated and will help Rowena with basic needs as she continues medical care. Rowena is resting and continuing with several medical appointments, monitoring lab work and working out a medical care plan. She is feeling much better and focused on healing.

Hello, I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Rowena Jackson. Rowena has been quite ill for a few weeks and ended up being admitted to the hospital after a visit to Emergency Room. After several days of care the Drs will allow her to go home. After release she still needs to see specialists and followup care who will help figure out her plan of treatment.

As you may know, Rowena's income is from vending at powwows and she hasn't been able to do that for the past few weeks. She also won't be able to set up vending at upcoming powwows and community events as this can be quite exhausting. In the meantime, Rowena needs help with bills so she can prioritize her health.
