Hi everyone,
I don’t normally do things like this, but as a special needs parent I feel the need with everything in me to help him. Jack is a special needs kiddo with autism and sensory processing disorder. He is also known as Rowdy, the mascot at FSMS. He struggles with communication and interaction with others on a regular basis… until he puts on his costume. I cannot begin to describe the feeling as a parent when you see your kid completely come out of his disability to interact with others and have a freedom that does not normally exist. He hugs everyone, gives high fives, dances and has pure joy coming out of every part of him. It’s one of the things you pray for as a parent, but especially as the parent of a kiddo on the spectrum.
This young man was just awarded the UCA All American Mascot Award and has an opportunity to perform at the Citrus Bowl in Florida on January 1st!
It’s a chance of a lifetime for this sweet boy who struggles with so much. He will represent Midlothian and the Special Needs Community with heart and kindness.
Would you be willing to help him get there?
Would you help sponsor this kiddo who has broken every barrier in front of him?
It’s $3476 before travel expenses of driving or flying are even factored in. Any amount, no matter how big or small would be a blessing and appreciated beyond belief. We are trying to raise $5000 to cover as much as possible.
We thank you for any help you’re willing to give!!
