From the EIG Family: Supporting Rowan Thompson’s Fight Against Kidney Cancer

Hi everyone,

This is Hunter Davis and David Wilson, along with the entire Elite Insurance Group (EIG) family. Today, we’re reaching out not on behalf of our business, but as a family standing behind one of our own.

Rowan Thompson, the brave and beautiful son of Brett and Meagan Thompson, has recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer. Rowan is currently at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), where he is undergoing an aggressive treatment plan.

The current plan is for Rowan to receive chemotherapy at CHOA for at least six weeks. If the chemo is successful, Rowan will then undergo surgery to remove one of his kidneys. It’s a long and difficult road, but Rowan is a fighter — and he’s surrounded by an incredible support system.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden this unexpected journey has brought on the Thompson family. These funds will directly assist with:

-Unexpected medical costs

-Travel to and from CHOA

-Lodging expenses during Rowan’s treatment

Meagan is a beloved member of our EIG family, and Brett has been her steady partner through this unimaginable challenge. As parents, they are doing everything they can to stay strong for Rowan — and now it’s our turn to be strong for them.
