Hi,

This is Clinton. My new puppy Rowan unfortunately swallowed a cat toy and needed to have emergency surgery on Friday Oct 24th. It was very scary and stressful but he's doing well now. He's taking his meds great (they are hidden in cream cheese), eating, and resting (border collies on sedatives are basically normal dog levels of energy fyi). All signs are currently pointing toward him making a full safe recovery.

Of course the worst part at this point is simply how expensive medical care of any kind is. I know some people who care about me have expressed interest in helping so I wanted to start this GoFundMe to simplify that process.

Thank you all so much for your help and support. It's wonderful having a strong community of people to take care of each other especially in these very difficult times.
