Help Rowan pay for top surgery

Hi, my name is Rowan. I identify as a transgender male and I am currently looking to have top surgery in September 2025. Setting up a GoFundMe was never something I considered because I struggle asking others for help, especially when it comes to money.

When I initially priced my surgery, the price point was between £6500-£9000. As of today, my surgery price point is now £9000-£12000. These prices do not include referrals from private doctors and psychiatrists or post-surgery at-home supports (e.g. extra pillows for support, potential mobility aids, etc). I was originally on track to have saved enough for my surgery by my expected surgery date but now it could potentially be out of my budget.

Current NHS waitlists are very long for my area of residence and I am currently expected to wait around another 10 years from now to have my surgery done on the NHS. I am struggling with my confidence and identity, therefore I have been saving for years to have this surgery as quick as possible.

So far, I have saved £7000 on my own. I am hoping to meet the minimum price point for the surgery itself but I am in need of support to pay for the costs of services which are not included in the final price of my surgery.
