Help Rowan Achieve Life-Changing Top Surgery

***Update! Top Surgery was completed yesterday. I am so happy about this I can't even put it into words. I am still in great need of financial support, however. I managed to take out a loan to cover what's left to pay. But this loan at this amount leaves me paying about $1k a month to avoid interest. My name is Rowan. I am a 27-year-old transgender man. I've been on testosterone hormone replacement therapy for about 4 years. I've been trying to get to a place where I can afford Top Surgery, but the economy has been so harsh.

My gender dysphoria has been a crippling weight that has a large negative impact on my mental health (and physical health with years of extensive chest binding). Now that I've graduated college, I am working full time and overtime. Saving thousands and thousands is still unrealistic for me though. My insurance has declined my claim for coverage. Given other medical needs, switching insurance plans/companies isn't something I can easily do either. My only hope is applying for Care Credit and asking my community for help.

My ask on this platform covers the immediate medical bills from the estimate by my surgeon, not even including the required bloodwork or pathology testing. I've included this estimate with personal info censored. I will still need to figure out travel expenses, time off work, regular bills, post-surgery expenses (appointments, surgical binders, etc.), and whatever monthly payments I may have to tackle in terms of medical loans.

Top surgery feels like the last piece of my transition and will be absolutely life-changing.
