Life has been throwing challenges my way, and I’m doing my best to keep my head up through it all. On January 15th, I lost my full-time job due to downsizing. From that day forward, I’ve been searching for new opportunities, applying for jobs, and streaming as much as I can to make ends meet. I was hoping to have something full-time by late February or mid-March, but unfortunately that hasn’t happened yet. Every day is a mix of job applications, interviews, and trying to stay hopeful, even when it feels overwhelming.
Recently, the assistance I was receiving was reduced because I’m on unemployment. While I’m grateful for any support, the reduction has made it even harder to cover basic needs like rent, groceries, and electricity. I don’t drive, so getting to job interviews means relying on public transit or rideshares, which adds to my expenses. I’m doing everything I can, but the fatigue is setting in quickly, and I’m worried about what will happen if things don’t change by the end of June.
I didn’t see myself getting to this point and was hoping to have something full-time by late February or mid-March, which unfortunately is not what took place. I apologize and thank you for taking the time to read, share, or donate. Anything and everything helps. I’m continuing to try to find employment in this current job market to get back on even footing. Your support means the world to me right now.
