Help Ross whilst he faces Car T therapy

I am trying to raise some funds with my bestie Heather for my good friend Ross. I have been  friends with Ross since p7 and share so many good times together over the years. Ross turned 40 in January and found out recently he is facing cancer for the third time. Ross was unable to walk, and after going to A&E, he found out the cancer had returned with a tumour pressing on his spine.  He is now about to undergo amazing life-saving treatment called CAR T-cell therapy, where his cells are taken from his body, re-engineered in Europe, flown back to Scotland and then given back into his system. The process comes with many life threatening side effects, but the possibility of healing far outweighs the negatives. Ross is going to Glasgow for life saving treatment in April and his partner Ray needs to be near him. They need to rent an apartment for 5 weeks minimum so we thought we would try help fundraise to support them financially through this worrying time as Ross has had to stop work through battling previous Cancer's.
sadly I  cant do anything to help support Ross & Ray physically,but felt this was something I could do to help support them finacially during this worrying time. 
I  have challenged myself to complete 600k steps in the month of March this equates to 20k steps every day, working full time in Edinburgh each day will make the steps hard so everynight I will walk to make them up once home.
