Hello everyone - it’s been a while!

Major life update - as of this month, I am graduating undergrad with a BA in Psychology and Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies!! This is a huge milestone as I have been a primarily self-supporting student, taking classes year-round while working multiple jobs to finance my academic, housing, and other living expenses.

One of my professional goals is to gain experience working with youth of marginalized identities and underserved communities through program creation and direct community engagement, so that they feel safe, heard, and valued.

So, I will be starting two jobs - one on January 6th, and the other on January 12th. For one role, I will be an assistant program coordinator with an organization that creates play activities for youth and families living in subsidized housing and shelters. (I have been interning with this organization since last summer and am excited to stay on the team!) I will also be working as an administrative assistant at a Jewish Day school.

In preparation for this new employment, I could really use your help! I need to purchase a used car so that I can navigate between multiple work sites, some of which are far apart from each other and not accessible to me by public transit.

I hope to purchase a used car that is around $8,000 and not in need of any major repairs. However, what I can ultimately purchase will be based on the success of this fundraiser!
