I'm Ross. I love to BBQ.

Nearly 15 years ago, I moved to Texas with my wife and infant son. Coming from SC, BBQ was a thing, but it was always boring to me. From my first bite of Texas BBQ, I was hooked! I have spent the last decade perfecting my craft of what many folks believe is amazing Texas BBQ!

As you may or may not know, starting a food based business is expensive, the economy is horrible, and everything costs too much. This is why I'm asking for YOUR help! Any donation, large or small, will help bring me closer to my dream of starting a Texas BBQ business. I plan to start with a larger smoker to accommodate enough food to feed a crowd. My current smoker is great for 1-2 briskets, but not much more than that at a time. Once the smoker is acquired, I can begin with pop up events selling my BBQ. Once that has become successful and I have become established, I will either look into a food truck or a brick and mortar restaurant.

This is my second GoFundMe for this cause. I was fortunate to have several donations last time and it was a great start! Thank you to all who donated! But, life got in the way, and sadly my dream was put on hold. Life has continued to try to beat us up, so I have made the decision to go full speed ahead and pursue this dream of being my own boss while supporting my family, AND cooking awesome food for great people!
