Hello, my name is Ross. I am a father of 8 kids and a single income family bc of a newborn in the house. At the end of October, 2021, I was playing basketball with the kids and I landed on a skateboard. When trying to catch my landing, I ruptured the anterior talofibular ligament and 2 calcaneo fibular ligaments. I was then sent to a surgeon for correctional surgery due to be performed on Feb 9, 2022.

The last few months have been extremely trying on my family and household. I have drained my bank acct in order to pay bills while I was unable to work. After going through everything we had saved up, it only carried us until Feb, 2022. I am having troubles with child support attempting to hold me in contempt for non payment during this time. Amongst other things that have popped up. Everything has had a trickling effect since October. I have resourced all of my options to recover some funds to carry us through the next 3 to 4 months. Everything has a fine print at the bottom and I'm not able to withdraw anything to help the situation. Its a huge sob story so I'll spare you the details. There is no short term disability at my place of employment. Meaning we will have no funds coming in for the next 4 to 5 months. 

This is the only option I'm able to exercise at this point and I've had to swallow my pride to even make this a thing. I work very hard to provide for my family and things were great before all of this happened. This has been extremely detrimental to us. If you could or if you would, we would greatly appreciate any help you could offer us at this time. I will be in recovery for at least the next 3 months. The breakdown of what I am asking for help for goes like this:

-Mortgage for 3 mos (3.5k)

-Surgeons fee (3.3k)

-Out of pocket ins fees max of (8.1k)

- Groceries and expenses: approx (2k)
