Help Rosie's Family with Final Expenses
Donation protected
On Tuesday, September 3, At 2:AM, Rosie was suffering from issues relating to her chest. She Became unresponsive. Her husband and her 15 year old son started CPR. She remained unresponsive as her husband,Phillip Howard, began calling 911. 10 to 15 minutes later, Paramedics arrived on the scene. They shocked her twice and gave her 3 doses of Epinephrine; which was used to try and get her heart going. She was swiftly taken to the hospital by the EMT, where she was sedated and intubated during transport. The reason for being sedated was to prevent further brain injury. When EMT’s and Rosie had gotten to the hospital, they ran all necessary testing which included a CT scan, blood work, and got her into the CCU (Critical Care Unit). All blood work was normal, kidneys, heart and liver were all functioning and working. Unfortunately, due to the lack of oxygen to Rosie’s brain and the cardiac arrest she endured, she was left with brain dead. The only function of her brain that is viable is being able to breathe and have a pulse.
Unfortunately, this has left her family with final expenses. This was a very sudden event and they were not prepared for this to happen.
Rosie was a kind natured, fun loving, and a caring mother of 5. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone. Rosie’s favorite color was purple and she had a laugh that could lift-up anyones mood. She connected with animals especially cats and cardinals. Rosie enjoyed watching Charmed, Gray’s Anatomy, Golden Girls, Last Man Standing and Till Death. Her most cherished life moments were spent with her kids and husband making memories at cold stream in West Enfield.
She is survived by her children, grandchild, husband, and Dewey (The domino dog). The Money that will be raised will go to her cremation, celebration of life, and any extra money will go to her children. If you can't donate please share.
Update: Rosie took her last breath today at 2:49 pm. She went peacefully and didn't suffer. Her family is going to take the rest of the day to be together and start the healing process. Tomorrow Rosie will be brought to the Downeast Direct Cremation to start the aftercare of death. Rosie's family will be having a celebration of life and will give an update when it is all planned. Please pray for her family at this time.
