It has been a tough month for my sweet Rosie girl. It all started with her being bitten by another dog. While being examined for the bite, the vet found a large mass growing on her spleen. Since then, Rosie has been to three different vets, getting ultrasounds, blood work, and x-rays. After various opinions, all of the vets agree, in order for Rosie to keep living a happy and healthy life she needs her spleen and the tumor removed. I am praying that getting this surgery will be all that she needs in order to keep living her absolute best life! A biopsy will be conducted on the tumor in addition to her liver. Please send good vibes and prayers for cancer free results. To fill the new void in her abdomen, a gastropexy will also be performed.
She is being operated this Tuesday and the surgery is close to $10,000. Surgery is expensive and people have graciously asked if they can help. With gratitude, I humbly ask if you would like to contribute to Rosie’s surgery, any amount will go directly to pay for Rosie’s surgery and veterinary bills.
Rosie is the best travel partner, adventure buddy, snuggle monster, and emotional support squeeze. She LOVES playing frisbee, meeting new friends, eating ice cream, rolling around in the grass, digging in the sand, and giving lots and lots of kisses. Rosie is not only my dog daughter, but the best companion. Rosie came to me as a gift from above at a time when I really needed her. She has a love for life and has made my world a better place. I know people say this about their human children, but I seriously don't know how I ever lived without her. Rosie is young and deserves so much more time on this Earth, I hope this surgery and veterinary care will provide her with that.
With much love and gratitude,
Kristin and Rosie
