Help RoShawn’s Mom after Michael

My name is RoShawn and Hurricane Michael hit my mother Rita’s small, rural Georgia community of Blakely harder than we expected. While we are all incredibly grateful that she is safe, her house lost most of its roof and one of the bedrooms is practically gone and her car suffered damage as well.

Mom lived alone in her little rented house with  no insurance and no idea if the owner even intends to make repairs.  

We need to get her relocated from Georgia to South Carolina as soon as possible. That is going to take money we don’t have. We’re hoping to raise whatever we can to put towards the costs of moving and getting her settled in a new place and repairing her car.

My mom is a breast cancer survivor and has faced more challenges in life than anyone I know and she has always come out stronger on the other side.  I know this will be no different, but any help to make that happen is greatly appreciated.
